EATS & RETREATS REWARDS PROGRAM RULES AND REGULATIONS
1.1. The Reward Program of Eats & Retreats is personal and is only available to persons over the age of 18. The program and benefits cannot be used by anyone apart from the individual members.
1.2. Program participation entitles users the right to earn Points, which can be redeemed for Rewards in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Program. Member benefits and Rewards are offered in good faith, however may not be available if prohibited by law or regulation in Member’s country of residence.
1.3. Members who do not have eligible activity as defined below (1.3.1 to 1.3.3) in any of 12 (twelve), 15 (fifteen), 18 (eighteen) consecutive month period (depending on the Rewards
Program level) may be removed from the Program and are subject to forfeiture of all accumulated Points. At the discretion of Eats & Retreats, such Members may be permitted to remain in the Program and removed after five years of inactivity. To keep accumulated Eats & Retreats Points, the Member must take one of the following actions within a 12 (twelve), 15 (fifteen), 18 (eighteen) consecutive month period (depending on a Rewards Program level):
1.3.1. Book an Eats & Retreats property exclusively via the Eats & Retreats instant confirmation feature on its website or via one of the Eats & Retreats Villa Specialists;
1.3.2. A booking made directly via an owner using the contact details on the Eats & Retreats website is not eligible for Points;
1.3.3. Purchase Eats & Retreats Points as outlined in section 5 herein;
1.3.4. Each Member is responsible for advising Eats & Retreats of any changes to his or her contact information.
1.4. The member consents to and accepts registration and processing of personal information by Eats & Retreats in accordance with prevailing legislation and the Rewards Program’ terms and conditions herein. Eats & Retreats is responsible for processing the personal information a member agrees to provide. This information, as well as purchase and bonus redemption information, may be used by Eats & Retreats’ Villas and participating businesses to administer Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program, including storage and calculation of bonus points. Members’ postal address, e-mail address and mobile number may be used to send out information and offers within the framework of prevailing British laws and regulations.
1.5. Users have the right to review and/or correct their own personal information. Members can withdraw consent for allowing Eats & Retreats to register and process their personal information. Withdrawal of consent will be treated as a termination of Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program.
1.6. In order to register bonus points and to receive personal benefits, members are personally responsible for presenting their participation number when making a reservation directly with Eats & Retreats. Only reservations made via Eats & Retreats reservation services can be granted benefits.
1.7. In the event of misuse of a Rewards Program card or bonus program, Eats & Retreats reserves the right to exclude the member(s) in question from the program. Such misuse may include but is not limited to, behaviour which is troublesome or shows a lack of respect towards the staff, partners or properties, criminal actions or action which are generally perceived to be immoral, unethical or contrary to the Rewards Program terms and conditions.
1.8. If a member expects to earn bonus points with Eats & Retreats based on accommodation paid by employer, members are personally responsible for notifying and obtaining consent from their employer in advance. Eats & Retreats cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible if a member does not inform and/or does not obtain prior consent from the employer. Eats & Retreats generally recommends that members obtain consent from their employer prior to making a booking.
1.9. Eats & Retreats reserves the right to wind up its Rewards Program with a six-month notice period to members. Any such notice will be sent by e-mail, and/or via a notice on the Eats & Retreats Members’ website.
1.10. Users can cancel their participation with Eats & Retreats at any time. Cancellation must be in writing (email accepted) and sent to Eats & Retreats. Cancellation will take immediate effect from the date on which Eats & Retreats receives notice of cancellation.
1.11. Cancellation of participation, on any ground, means that earned bonus points will be cancelled, cf. the requirement regarding active participation when using bonus points.
1.12. Eats & Retreats reserves a right to add, modify, delete or otherwise change any of the rules, procedures, conditions, benefits, or Rewards pertaining to the Program at its sole discretion, with or without notice, even though changes may affect the value of Points, Reward Certificates or Confirmations already accumulated. This means that Eats & Retreats may make changes that affect, but are not limited to, villas within the Eats & Retreats Portfolio, rules of earning Eats & Retreats Points, redeeming Eats & Retreats Points, rules and procedures for the use of Rewards, continued availability of Rewards, Reward types, and the features of special offers.
1.13. The Rewards Program terms and conditions published on the website are to be considered the applicable terms and conditions for Eats & Retreats.
1.14. Each Member is responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to the Program Terms and Conditions and as to the number of Points in his or her account. Eats & Retreats may attempt, but is not required, to send correspondence to active Members to advise them of matters of interest, including notification of Point forfeiture or Program changes. Neither Eats & Retreats, nor third party affiliates such as the properties within the Portfolio or any company providing Reward Certificates will be liable for any failure to do so.
1.15 Eats & Retreats nor third party affiliates such as the properties within the Portfolio or any company providing Reward Certificates will be held responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Member contact information, for problems related to any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized by the Member, for any human error, for any interruption, deletion, omission, defect, or line failure of any telephone network or electronic transmission, for problems relating to computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, for any other technical or non-technical error or malfunction, for lost, late, stolen, illegible, incomplete, garbled, misdirected, mutilated or postage due mail or other mail or e-mail for whatever reason.
1.16. If a Member believes he or she did not receive the correct Point credit(s) for his/her booking(s), he or she must submit a written request for such credit(s) to the Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program support, together with a legible copy of the Member’s booking(s) folio. Failure to supply the adequate and unaltered documentation within 30 days after the check-out date may result in denial of such Point credits. For the Member’s protection, all booking(s) documentation should be retained by the Member until the Point credit has appeared on his or her Eats & Retreats statement. Requests must be received at Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program support care within thirty (30) days from the date of activity. For new Members, credit will be accepted for any stay occurring within 30 days prior to enrollment in the Program when booked via the Eats & Retreats website and/or reservation services as per section 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 herein. Written requests must also include the Member’s name; Eats & Retreats account number, address, daytime telephone number, Eats & Retreats booking reference number to be credited.
1.17 When redeeming a credit voucher from one of our advertising campaigns using a promotional code, the eligibility must include the following conditions:
- Min stay 3 nights
- Min USD 240 per night (before all taxes)
- Booking confirmation must happen within 12 (twelve) month of the specific campaign
- Book directly via one of the Eats & Retreats Villa Specialists
2.1. The administration of member’s accounts and the provision of offers, rewards, benefits, products and services within the Eats & Retreats program requires the collection, processing and use of data as set out in these Privacy Rules and Regulations. When you become a member, Eats & Retreats collect information that you supply, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, property and destination preferences, and billing information. By submitting your personal information and agreeing to become a Eats & Retreats Member, you consent Eats & Retreats to use and share personal information about you for the purposes of administering your account(s), and for offering and providing rewards, benefits, products, goods, and services to you in connection with the Program.
2.2. Eats & Retreats may share personal information with third parties engaged to assist them in providing services to you or to carry out one of the business purposes described above. These service providers are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than to provide this assistance and are required to protect personal information disclosed by Eats & Retreats.
2.4. If you elect to earn Eats & Retreats Rewards Points or other benefits with Program partners or redeem Reward Points for Program Partner Rewards, you authorize Eats & Retreats to share your personal information with such Program Partners to the extent necessary to complete your request.
2.5. To the extent required or permitted by law, Eats & Retreats may collect, use and disclose your personal information in connection with security-related or law enforcement investigations or in the course of cooperating with authorities or complying with legal requirements.
2.6. By becoming a Eats & Retreats Member, you authorize Eats & Retreats to contact you via E-mail and postal mail with Program administrative and transactional information.
2.7. Eats & Retreats may occasionally contact you via e-mail and via postal mail about Program promotions, special offers, discounts, bonuses, or contests. If you would prefer not to receive these communications, you may instruct Eats & Retreats to remove your name and address using your Profile Settings within your Account.
2.8. Eats & Retreats will not share and/or sell your personal information for any purpose to companies that are not Program Partners of the Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program.
2.9. You may withdraw your consent and opt-out of receiving promotions and offers or having your personal information shared with business associates by one of the following methods:

2.9.2. E-mail our Rewards Program Support.
2.10. For European residents: You agree we may transfer your personal information outside the European Economic Area where this is necessary to provide it to a group company, business partner or other third party that is located outside the European Economic Area for the purposes set out in this Privacy Rules and Regulations. Please note that some of these countries to which your personal data may be transferred may not have the equivalent level of protection of personal data as that of your country of origin.
2.11. If you have any questions or complaints about our privacy policies and practices, please e-mail our Rewards Program Support.
2.12. You are entitled to gain access to the information about you held by Eats & Retreats, subject to the restrictions provided by law. You may request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete information and/or request that we delete personal information that we hold about you. If applicable, Eats & Retreats will disclose this information to the person concerned or rectify it promptly. In order to gain access to your personal information, please email our Rewards Program Support.
3. EARNING BONUS POINTS
3.1. Bonus points are valid for 12 (twelve), 15 (fifteen), 18 (eighteen) consecutive month period (depending on the Rewards Program level) from the month in which they were earned after the full payment for a booking is received. After this period, the bonus points will automatically become invalid and cannot be used subsequently. On redemption of bonus points, the oldest, valid bonus points will be redeemed first.
3.2. Bonus points earned and Rewards Program numbers are personal and cannot be transferred to other members’ bonus accounts or redeemed for cash.
3.3. Bonus point earnings are based on the member’s personal transactions. This means that members will be able to earn bonus points for his/her own booking(s) only if he/she pays for the accommodation. A member can never earn bonus points for another person’s or another member’s transaction(s).
3.4. Reward Points awarded are based on the basic bonus point rate (i.e. the amount of money spent on renting an accommodation from Eats & Retreats Portfolio).
3.5. Any applicable federal, state or local taxes, including, without limitation, city occupancy tax, Value Added Tax, Service Charge as applied by the properties are not considered “eligible folio charges” and will be omitted for purposes of Point accrual for booking(s).
3.6. No Points or credit towards tier status will be awarded for “no-show” situations when a Member has made a reservation guaranteed with a credit card but then does not check-in or cancels his or her booking, irrespective of whether or not the Member’s credit card is charged for any portion of the reserved stay per the Property and/or Eats & Retreats’ “no-show and cancellation” policy.
3.7. Activity statements are available via email or the Members’ online account.
3.8. Reward Points are awarded based on the booking(s) value, Rewards Program Level, and rules:
3.8.1 The number of points per Rewards Program level is calculated according to the booking value: Explorer – 100 points per USD 1,000; Pioneer – 150 points per USD 1,000; Legendary – 200 points per USD 1,000.
3.8.2 The booking value used to calculate the number of points excludes the cost of extra beds and any other additional services provided as part of the booking which may include, though not exhaustive, rental, wedding and/or catering service, transfers, in-villa services across the entire portfolio.
3.8.4 Only selected properties in the Eats & Retreats portfolio may be eligible for point collection and Members should ask confirmation during the reservation process.
3.8.5. Regardless a Rewards Program Level, 100 points can be awarded by completing the Rewards Program Profile.
3.8.6. Additional points are awarded for any reservation made using our instant confirmation feature as follows: Explorer – 50 points; Pioneer – 75 points; Legendary – 100 points
3.8.7 Additional points are awarded for any reservation made prior to the expiry date of the last valid points as follows: Explorer – 50 points; Pioneer – 100 points; Legendary – 150 points
3.8.8 Points are earned in increments of the booking value:
22.214.171.124 Up to USD 10,000 booking value = 100 points per USD 1,000.
126.96.36.199 From USD 10,001 up to USD 20,000 booking value = 150 points per USD 1,000.
188.8.131.52 From USD 20,001 and above booking value = 200 points per USD 1,000.
184.108.40.206 The threshold is applicable per single and cumulative bookings over the validity period of the first earned points.
220.127.116.11 Points are rounded-up to the next tens value. For example, a booking value of USD 1,654 will be granted 170 points (instead of 165.4)
3.8.9 When a Member redeems all his/her points showing a zero point credit, any future point earning will be calculated on the basis of the last Rewards Program level.
3.9. No reward points can be used to pay for accommodation within the Eats & Retreats portfolio.
3.10. To receive these Reward Points, the Member must submit his/her Rewards Program Number during the reservation process prior to proceeding to the payment of the accommodation.
3.11. An inactive account, meaning without a confirmed booking and point earning, will be terminated after eighteen (18) months from the date of enrolment.
3.12. Any Reward Points in conjunction with a booking will be considered awarded and redeemable when a booking has been fully paid.
4. REWARD POINTS REDEMPTION
4.1. To qualify for a Reward Point, the Member must have sufficient Points in his or her account to redeem the Reward, with the following exception: at the time of redemption, a Member may purchase Eats & Retreats Reward Points to reach the required level for redemption. See “Reward Point Purchase” section for full Reward Point Purchase Terms and Conditions.
4.2. It is solely the responsibility of the Member to remain informed about the Program and to request the specific Rewards online, via Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program website or via email to the Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program support. Some Rewards may be available to print when redeeming online.
4.3. When a Reward request is confirmed by Eats & Retreats, the corresponding number of Points will be deducted from the Member’s account. When redeeming Points, Points will be deducted from the Member’s account automatically upon Member completing the redemption transaction.
4.4. The Reward may be issued to the Eats & Retreats Member, or to any other person within the same booking party as the Member, as directed by the Member. Once issued, the Reward is not transferable and may be used only by the individual named on the Reward. If a person other than the individual named on the Reward documentation attempts to redeem the Reward, the Reward will be deemed void and the services will be denied.
4.5. A Reward Certificate redeemable for the Reward, as requested by the Member, will be issued via the Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program support team or online.
4.6. Rewards may not be sold, auctioned, bartered, brokered, purchased or otherwise transferred except with the express written consent of Eats & Retreats. Any Reward obtained in that manner without the required consent will be considered to have been fraudulently obtained and deemed void. Altered Reward Certificates are void. Voided Certificates will not be honored.
4.7. Eats & Retreats Rewards Points are valid for 12 (twelve), 15 (fifteen), 18 (eighteen) consecutive month period (depending on the Rewards Program level) from the date of issuance, though Eats & Retreats may, from time to time, offer Rewards with shorter validity periods.
4.8. Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash, prizes or credit of any sort. Rewards are not exchangeable.
4.9. In case of issue or cancellation by/from the Experiences provider of a Reward Certificate, the Reward Points which have been deducted from the Member’s account may be re-deposited to the Member account and at his or her sole request by the Member. Full documentation of the issue or cancellation must be provided to the Rewards Program Support within 30 days of the occurrence. Rewards will be solely re-deposited into the original account from which the Reward Points were deducted. Rewards will not be refunded in monetary value or in any other way whatsoever and Eats & Retreats will not be held responsible for any indemnification for the inconvenience caused.
4.10. In case of an issue or cancellation of an Experience from/by the Member, the Reward Points which have been deducted from the Member’s account will not be re-deposited to the Member account. Eats & Retreats reserves the sole right to consider the cancellation’ circumstances, based on full documentation of the issue or cancellation provided to the Rewards Program Support within 30 days of the occurrence, to change such rule and credit the Rewards Points back to the Member’s account. Rewards will be solely re-deposited into the original account from which the Reward Points were deducted. Rewards will not be refunded in monetary value or in any other way whatsoever and Eats & Retreats will not be held responsible for any indemnification for the inconvenience caused.
4.11. Reward Certificates are void where copied, prohibited or restricted by law.
4.12. All Reward Certificates must be redeemed in strict accordance with the procedures specified on the Reward Certificate.
4.13. Eats & Retreats is not responsible, and assumes no liability for what each Experiences providers provide or fail to provide.
4.14 Members expressly acknowledge and agree that redemption of and participation in an Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program Experience is entirely voluntary and that certain Eats & Retreats Local Experiences may include hazards, risks or potentially dangerous situations. Accordingly, Members expressly acknowledge and agree that under no circumstances shall Eats & Retreats, Eats & Retreats properties be held responsible or liable for any injuries or damages sustained by a Member in connection with such Member’s use of or participation in an Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program Experience.
4.15. When referring a Friend, for every increment of USD 4,000 booking value secured by the referred person, the Member and the referred Friend will both receive a USD 50 Visa Gift Card.
4.16. Legendary Rewards Program Level provides an opportunity of getting USD 250 for every booking over USD 20,000.
4.17. Legendary Rewards Program Level provides an opportunity for checking-in early and checking-out late.
4.18 Legendary Rewards Program Level provides an opportunity for getting access to airport lounge that is applicable to only specific destinations. To the sole discretion of Eats & Retreats, such access may be provided as an e-voucher, gift card, annual Rewards Program fee when applicable or any other means deemed suitable by Eats & Retreats. Additional fees may remain applicable at the airport lounge and will remain the sole liability of the Member.
4.19. When published, a complimentary coffee table book is offered to Legendary Members and will be send by snail mail to the the Member address.
4.20. Exclusive offers and promotions are being offered to all Members.
4.21. Personal Eats & Retreats concierge will be provided to all Members in order to finalise all holiday details, activities, tours and restaurant reservations as and when needed.
4.22. Advanced notification on special offers will be awarded to all Members depending on a Rewards Program Level (Explorer – 5 days; Pioneer – 10 days; Legendary – 15 days).
4.23. Sneak peek at new properties before launch will be offered to all Members.
4.24. Choice of welcome amenity will be awarded to all Members, however. Eligibility and content vary from one property to another and details should be requested to Eats & Retreats’ concierge.
4.25. Free continental breakfast is awarded to all Members on selected property. Members should refer to each property description on Eats & Retreats website for eligibility.
4.26. Every Member will be receiving electronic newsletters monthly or more regularly.
5. POINT PURCHASE PROGRAM
5.1. Points may be purchased online, or via e-mail. Members may purchase up to 1,000 Eats & Retreats Bonus Points per calendar year. Purchase limit and cost of Points may change at any time without notification. Total cost of Points will be shown to Member during the purchase process before the purchase is completed.
5.2. Members can purchase Points during the booking process when the Member does not have enough Points to redeem a Reward. Members can purchase an unlimited number of Points up to the total number of Points required to redeem the Member’s desired Reward, with the maximum number of 1,000 points within a calendar year.
5.3. Members must purchase these Points during the Reward booking process by credit card online. At any time, at the sole discretion of Eats & Retreats, Members may be limited in the number of Points they can purchase via this option, and that limit may change at any time without notification.
5.4. The cost of Points purchased through this option depends on the number of Points purchased and is subject to change at any time without notification. Total cost of Points will be shown to Member during the booking process before purchase.
5.5. OPtions and process of redeeming purchased Points under the Point Purchase Program are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Eats & Retreats Program.
5.6. A new Eats & Retreats Member may purchase Points 30 days after enrollment if the account reflects activity which entitles the Member to earn Eats & Retreats Points. After 90 days of enrollment, a new Member is eligible to purchase Points regardless of their account activity.
5.7. The sale, barter or gift of Eats & Retreats Points, Point awards or other benefits, other than by Eats & Retreats, is expressly prohibited. Eats & Retreats Points, including such Points purchased under the Point Purchase Program, are transferable to other Eats & Retreats Members. The Points purchased under the Point Purchase Program are non-refundable.
5.8. The Points purchased under the Point Purchase Program will be posted to the Member’s Eats & Retreats account immediately (provided there are no technical issues that prevent immediate posting).
5.9. In the event of any Point or financial discrepancy, the calculations under these Terms and Conditions shall be based upon data contained in Eats & Retreats’ records, and the data in Eats & Retreats records shall take precedence over the data in any other records. Any improper usage of Eats & Retreats Points shall be grounds for immediate confiscation and forfeiture of such Points, and may be grounds for the forfeiture of all Points in the Member’s account and/or the Member’s ejection from the Eats & Retreats Program, all as determined within Eats & Retreats’ sole discretion.
5.10. Any Points purchased will constitute the last Points redeemed when the purchasing Member redeems Points for a Reward.
5.11. By utilizing the Point Purchase Program, Member acknowledges and signifies agreement with these Terms and Conditions.
5.12. Eats & Retreats’ Rewards Program, earning of Points and redemption of Points are subject to Eats & Retreats Terms and Conditions. Eats & Retreats reserves the right to change the Eats & Retreats Program rules, regulations, terms, Experience awards and thresholds, and special offers, at any time, without notice. Eats & Retreats also reserves the right to terminate the Point Purchase Program with six (6) months general notice.
