1. Earning Points
1.1 How do I become a member and start earning points?

You can only earn points when you book directly via Unique Retreats or Eats & Retreats. Earning points is only valid for new bookings.
1.3 How many points do I earn per booking?
The number of points you earn depends on the annual booking value and the level of membership. For the Explorer level, 100 points per every $1,000 US are earned. For the Globetrotter level, 150 points per every $1,000 US are earned and for the Legendary level, 200 points per every $1,000 are earned.
1.4 How do I earn bonus points?
You can earn bonus points for instant confirmation of your booking and by completing your membership profile. Depending on your level of membership, you can earn up to 300 bonus points per booking. Unlike regular points, bonus points cannot be transferred to other members or redeemed for cash.
1.5 Can I transfer my points to someone else?
Points bought or earned may be transferred to another registered member. Bonus points cannot be transferred.
2. Using Points
2.1 What can I use my earned points for?
The points you earn can be redeemed against local experiences and activities, carefully selected to make each holiday with us even more special. For a complete overview of the experiences, visit our experience page.
Another option is to claim your credit as an Amazon Gift Card. To do this simply contact our team.
2.2 How many points do I need in order to redeem an experience or activity?
The number of points you need depends on the activity you select. You can already start experiencing for 90 points.
2.3 Can I redeem my points for cash or a discount for my booking?
Points cannot be redeemed against money or a discount for your booking. Points can only be redeemed against experiences and activities that are listed on our experience page. Or claiming an Amazon Gift Card.
2.4 I want to redeem an experience but I do not have enough points, what can I do?
If you do not have enough points for your favorite experience/activity, it is possible to buy extra points(3) to top up your wallet.
3. Validation of my (bonus) points
3.1 How long are my points valid?
Your Rewards points are valid for a 12, 15 or 18 consecutive month period, depending on your level of membership(4).
3.2 How long are my bonus points valid?
For bonus points, the same rules of validation apply as for regular points. This means that depending on your level of membership, the bonus points are valid for 12, 15 or 18 consecutive months(4).
4. Cancellation of experience or activity
4.1 What happens to my points after I have redeemed them against an experience but the experience is cancelled?
- When the experience is cancelled by/from the experience provider, the reward points deducted from your member account will be redeposited to the account on request of the member.
- When you cancel a booked experience/activity yourself, Eats & Retreats reserves the sole right to determine if the circumstances leading to the cancellation are a valid reason to decide if the earned points are redeposited.
- If you have booked an experience/activity and do not show up without any notice, points will under no circumstance be redeposited.
5. I do not want to be a member anymore
5.1 I do not want to be a member of Eats & Retreats' membership program, where and how can I cancel my membership?
We regret to hear that you want to cancel your membership. This can be done at any time by sending an email to our membership helpdesk.
5.2 When I cancel my membership, what happens to the points that I have not redeemed?
Once you cancel your membership, your earned points will become invalid as soon as Eats & Retreats has confirmed your membership cancellation.
